Another fun lifestyle newborn session on the blog this morning!!! If you missed it a few weeks ago, I got to work with Justin’s cousin’s family and shoot their adorable maternity session on the farm! Well, it wouldn’t be but a few weeks later, and they were surprised by this gorgeous baby girl!!

Emery Lane joined this world on July 23 and rang at 7 lbs and 20 inches! She’s pretty dang adorable too!

Morgan had gone in a few weeks before her due date when the doctor noticed that baby girl was sideways. They had to do some manipulation to get her back head down or if they couldn’t, they would have to do a c-section. I could definitely feel for her when we started talking about that, and I remembered throughout my pregnancy with Jackson, he was breach for a good majority of it. It wasn’t until I was at 38 weeks when I went in for an ultrasound that they told me he finally turned! PHEW! I know i’ve mentioned that these COVID brides are tough cookies, but let’s not forget about these COVID mommas! I can only imagine the stresses they have felt through all of this craziness. Not knowing if their spouses would be able to join them, horror stories of babies being taken away from their parents who have tested positive for COVID. It’s no joke, guys!

Luckily, Emery’s birth didn’t sound too eventful and they were able to be home pretty quickly. From the sound of it, Emery sounds like an angel baby, and is definitely a new happy addition to the Christensen Family! 🙂
