Another year down, another year to go….which means new dreams and new goals!! I always love looking through my past years dreams and goals and seeing which ones I crushed, which ones I accomplished, and even the ones I didn’t QUITE achieve. It always helps me try to do better the next year, and see the growth not only in my business, but also as a person.

In 2017, I had some BIG goals! I was pretty proud when I went back and looked through them because I actually accomplished quite a bit of what I was hoping to!! One of my biggest personal goals was to get pregnant, and YAHOOOOO for making that one happen. I’m excited for baby J to join our family in just a few short weeks, even if I am a bit in denial over that fact.

I also had quite a few business goals that I was proud to achieve! I wanted to shoot at least 12 weddings last year, and I ended up landing on 14!!! I had 14 awesome couples, 14 killer weddings, and 14 weekends of way too much fun!

All in all, 2017 was a great year, and I know 2018 will be crazy, and maybe a little stressful with 2 kiddos, but I’m excited to see what the year brings.

Personal Goals

• Get in better shape. Work out 4 days a week. –This pregnancy has kind of kicked my butt. I was super exhausted the first trimester, and by the second, I had NO urge to do anything. I’m over being out of shape, and not being strong anymore. ANNNND i’m turning 30 this year, so things need to change!
• Pay off school loans!! – I only have three, and they’re all pretty low, so I just need to get it done.
• Read 2 books a month
• Read scriptures every day

Business Goals

• Shoot 8-10 weddings  (This year I have to be strategic with what weekends I have. I don’t want to shoot every weekend like I did this last July.)
• Start booking 2019 weddings
• Streamline client gifts
• Outsource wedding editing
• Blog every wedding

My business goals seem pretty mediocre compared to some of them from last year, but I know with this new little baby, doing some of the things I thought were no big deal last year, might be a bit more different this year. Regardless, i’m excited to see how things turn out! 🙂 Here’s to another awesome year!!!
