I’ve been looking forward to this Pasco engagement session for what feels like ages! It really hasn’t been that long, but we were supposed to shoot last week, and the running Snowmagedon that we’ve been having kicked in at full force last week with below freezing temps, and freezing rain. Luckily, we had some sun and warmer weather over the weekend and we were able to make it happen!! The sun was shinning, the wind kept at bay (for the most part) and we laughed way too much. I loved getting the chance to hang out with Chris and Whitney during this session.
I had to warn them before we started the session that we would probably be playing some games, they would probably think I was crazy, but to just humor me, and they totally did! Sometimes I ask my clients to do some SUPER silly things, but I was so impressed how much these two committed! They rocked this session, and I think we all had sore abs by the end of it. At least I did.
These two met at a bonfire out in the country (cue the Luke Bryant!), and I thought it was only fitting that we shoot their engagement session in a similar location! We took a short drive from their house to the coolest overlook over the Columbia River and Hanford! It’s SO dang pretty out there! I can only imagine how awesome it is in the spring and summer time!
They were troopers out in the snow, laughed at me when I fell through, and told me all about how Chris proposed!
There were in Montana for a weekend trip, and they had decided to go for a little drive because there wasn’t anything else to do. I’ve been in Montana. This is absolutely the truth. HA! They started driving along some old logging roads and then they pulled off at one point. Chris told Whitney to look at a bird through the binoculars (so he could grab the ring! Super sneaky!) but by the time she looked, the bird was gone. What she saw instead was a beautiful princess cut ring and her man asking him to marry her.
I gotta tell you guys. These proposal stories just keep getting better and better! 🙂 So dang cute.
We laughed, they did silly things, we got to talk about farming- it really was just a fun day, and perfect weather! I can’t wait to spend the day with them on their wedding day! If it’s anything like this day, it’s going to be amazing! 🙂
