First off, HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!!!!!! I love this time of year, mostly because it was just my birthday, but also because the fourth of July means we get to go shoot guns, and blow stuff up. ‘MERICA! Moving on to more imporant things….It was just last year when we did these two’s engagement session and I’m grateful that it was a bit less rainy at this Elk Haven Equestrian Center Wedding! We did their engagement session here too, but we managed to get rained out pretty early, but the day of their wedding was PERFECT! It wasn’t too hot, but wasn’t cold, and the day was just beautiful. Oh, and it was my birthday. 🙂 A perfect day to celebrate-love, lots of laughs, plenty of jokes, and CARROT CAKE!
I’ve known Adam for years now. Him and my hubby hung out quite a bit and worked together, so I was SO happy when him and Jessica asked me to be their wedding photographer. Jessica is probably the most organized person that I know, and that made their whole wedding process SO easy on my side! She could definitely have a future in the wedding planning business! 😉
I really love when my couples do a first look, but these two wanted to keep it a secret until the real thing, and their wish was my command! I spend the morning with Jessica and her girls, and then Adam and his boys separately, and it was fun to see those nerves and excitement for the real thing. We had a fun morning, but then it was time for the big show! Jessica walked down the aisle to the man of her dreams, and Adam had the BIGGEST smile on his face. It was the sweetest.
It was such a fun day celebrating with the two of them. I did something that I hadn’t done for anyone, and that was helping them move the top tier of their cake. During the moving, I managed to get my entire hand in the frosting, so naturally, we had to document that. There was no frosting war, even though we were all tempted. These two had such an amazing day, and I was so happy to be a part of it! 🙂
Congrats Adam and Jessica!!!! Hope you’re enjoying Mexico!!!
