HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

Being my first blog of the year is KIND of a big deal, and I couldn’t think of a better idea than making my first post of the year my “year in reviews” post! See what I did there?! Well you won’t yet, but I wanted to share what a few of my brides had to say about working with me this year.

I said it time and time again over last year, but I get to work with SO many amazing clients, and 2017 will be a hard one to beat!! I had some amazing couples, and I was honored they chose me as the one to get to document the beginning of their stories. So let’s jump right in!!

Shanna and Joe – Five Pine Lodge Wedding – Sisters, OR

My very first wedding of 2017 was these two, and it was a DREAM. Not only did my motel have llamas that you could feed (yes, you read that right), but I had SO much fun with these guys and their friends! Their families were more than welcoming, and I felt like I was a part of the group the entire weekend.

Her work is amazing and beautiful and she was able to capture our perfect day and all of our wonderful memories. We are constantly complimented on her work and love having it around to show off. Sean and KP – Promise Garden Wedding – Pasco, WA

Sean and KP’s wedding was perfect! They tied in both American and Thai ceremony traditions, and it was my first time getting to be a part of a Thai water ceremony!

Adam and Jessica got married on my birthday!!! And I couldn’t think of a better way i’d rather spend my birthday! I loved being a part of their wedding!

Dana and Terri – Warm Springs Inn Wedding – Wenatchee, WA

I had so much fun with Dana and Terri on their wedding day. Terri was the kindest bride (the day was SOOO hot, and she made sure to kept checking on ME), and they combined their families seamlessly! It was beautiful!

“What can I say about Mrs. Misty…she is an absolutely dream! Being that my husband is a professional photographer himself, we were rather picky on who would be taking our pictures. Misty was the ticket. She answered my inquiry within 30 minutes of sending the request, she stayed on top of communication and literally EVERYTHING from the time we engaged in her services, through our engagement photos (and I had a gob of sick kids) all the way through our wedding. Misty went above and beyond in everything she did for us. Like I mentioned above, our engagement picture location had to change due to the fact that all three of my little ones were sick. She came to US! We made it work but she never complained for one second. My husband hates getting his picture taken and Misty found a way to engage with him to make him smile and enjoy the process. I highly encourage anyone to go through the engagement picture process with Misty, it makes the wedding day so much better. It’s like she’s family. She knew our children, our parents and best friends and treated them like they too were her family. The wedding day was HOT…I mean SO HOT!! 106 I think… she never complained, and followed me around doing everything she could do to make ME happy. Not something I am used to, it’s usually the other way around. In closing, I’m so grateful for Misty, her time, her energy and the genuine love she feels for those she works with. I can honestly say she is my friend now, and what a beautiful friend she is. Thank you lovely – you are a gift and simply AH-MAZ-ING!”

Bryan and Olivia – Onalaska Backyard Wedding – Onalaska, WA 

I knew from the first time I facetimed with Olivia we would get along great, but I didn’t realize HOW great. I got to be a part of two weddings with this sweet girl, hers and her best friend, Kendall’s, and I loved working with them throughout the year!!! Seriously, SO fun.

She bends over backwards to make sure everything is perfect, you feel comfortable, and you get just what you want. Matt and Kelsey – Pine River Ranch Wedding – Leavenworth, WA

I LOVE me some Pine River Ranch Weddings, but you add two people like Matt and Kelsey, and all their family, and you’ve got yourself a wedding day that is hard to beat. These two were so excited to be married, and were troopers, even getting eaten alive by mosquitoes during their sunset photos. 😛 I also knew it was going to be a great day when Kelsey’s mom was just as excited to see/meet me, as I was to be there! She left the sweetest review as well.

“From the very beginning, working with Misty was amazing! She wanted to get to know us right away so we had a Skype session to make sure it was a good fit. It went great, and she was super easy to talk with and answered all of our questions. Looking at her gallery, I was amazed and so was everyone I showed. Her prices are extremely fair and all along the journey she sent us cute little packages that made everything that much more special. Josh and Kendra – Barn at Blue Meadows Wedding – Dayton, WA

Josh and Kendra’s wedding day was B-E-A-U-tiful! Everything came together so well, and Josh’s reaction to seeing Kendra for the first time as his future bride made EVERYONE melt. I loved watching these two become husband and wife, and I’m excited for their future adventures!

Like I mentioned before, I got to spend two weddings with Kendall, and Olivia, and the other Nora girls from Gonzaga!!! I just love them.

Billy works for Harley, Mali is literally an angel. How could I not love these two!?!?!
