I loved this Lake Cle Elum engagement session and have been waiting for it for months now!! Stella is one of my coworkers, and I’ve known her for a few years now. She started working in the office when she was still in high school, and it’s been so fun to get to see her grow and learn more and more about the dental field! I was so excited for her when she got engaged, and even more excited when she asked me to be her wedding photographer. Her and Andrew will be getting married next December, and she wanted to have a winter engagement shoot to keep the wintery theme going, and we made it happen!! The weather was beautiful for a mid-December day, and these two said they were nervous, but you’d never be able to tell! I had so much fun with them.
These two met back in high school. Stella made me laugh when she told me how they met at a swim meet, and even though she was in her swim attire, Andrew was still interested. They like to spend their time together baking things, going to different places to eat (I, for one, know how much Stella appreciates yummy places to eat. We go to lunch at some killer places some days!), and going on trips.
On Easter this year, Andrew sent Stella on an Easter egg hunt. Each of the eggs had a note in them telling her how much he cared about her, and what he loved about her. The last egg was a bit yellow egg, full of smaller and smaller eggs that ended with a note that read “Will you marry me?” When Stella looked up, Andrew was down on one knee with the ring. And it’s a gorgeous ring at that. If you aren’t local, you may not know what an Ellensburg Blue is, around Ellensburg, Washington there are gorgeous blue agates, and if you’re lucky enough to find one, they polish up beautifully, and make for one killer engagement ring. I love how unique Stella’s ring is, and it’s absolutely stunning!
I loved spending the afternoon with these two, and I cannot wait for their wedding next winter! Check out how cute they are….
