One thing is for sure, COVID brides are creative. They have all had to do so much, and be more creative than anything of them probably anticipated. This was true for this intimate park wedding this past weekend! Nick and Kelly were supposed to get married in Ohio, where both of them are from, before COVID happened. It may not have been what they had initially planned, but it was a beautiful wedding, and they were helped and supported by their friends with their families watching online.
I met up with them at their house in the afternoon. I was STOKED when I saw Nick’s floral jacket! I LOVED it, so much, and we went right into their first look. Afterward, we headed out to Horn Rapid County Park. Kelly wanted to get portraits out in the desert, and they found the perfect spots for us including around some sagebrush that was taller than us! It was fun to see these two interact. I think they kinda like each other. 🙂
After sneaking in their portraits, it was time to head back to their house and the park across the street from their house. Masks in hand, or really on face, their friends helped get their ceremony put together. With live-streaming to their families afar, they promised to love each other and be there for each other always, and always love their fur babies. They even had their sweet blue-heeler pup, Josie, as their flower girl. SO cute!
Things that I LOVED- Their Flower Pup, Nick’s Jacket, their adorable cake topper, and their masks–Kelly made hers out of her dress hem! I was impressed!
Kelly and Nick- thank you SO much for letting me be there on your big day. It may not been what you had hoped for initially, but it was beautiful and I’m honored to get to be a part of it. I hope you guys get to go to Greece soon. Fingers crossed! 😉
