If you’ve been around here at all, you know I have a soft spot for backyard weddings, but this Ellensburg backyard wedding was even more special. Leading up to the day, I kept thinking about my own wedding day. We got married in Justin’s parents backyard, with just a few friends and family. It would be a COVID friendly wedding, but it was absolutely perfect. This day was just as perfect.
Regan and Lindsey got married in Lindsey’s parents backyard, surrounded by friends and family. I’ve known her family for over 10 years from working for her dad. I’ve gotten to see her grown into the beautiful woman that she is, and it made me SO happy to see her so happy with Regan. He’s so sweet and perfect for her- they’re adorable.
It was a little chilly, but what can you expect from a November wedding on the edge of the Cascades, we really lucked out with the weather. There was NO wind, which if you’ve ever been in Ellensburg, that rarely ever happens. The sun was shining through the fog when I got there, and we had the dreamiest light during their first look and their portraits. Their wedding party was a mix of their brothers and sisters, and I laughed so hard during them that it’s a miracle they are in focus. HA! [Kidding.]
Lindsey walked down the aisle with her dad and her and Regan promised themselves to each other here on earth. They’ll be going through the temple next week to promise to eternity, but this was the perfect start to their story.
Regan and Lindsey- I’m so excited for you guys, and thanks again for braving the cold with me. Remember to always forgive each other, love each other always, and keep having fun together! So happy for you!
