Through miles of agriculture (and miles of dirt roads), you get to a beautiful oasis in the middle of the desert in Soap Lake, Washington, known as Two Point Ranch. I had been waiting patiently to photograph this colorful Two Point ranch wedding for over a year after I had met Kirin and Cindy in Ellensburg for their engagement session last fall. I knew it was going to be an intimate, special wedding day, and I am honored that I was a small part of it.

These two wanted to have adequate time for their bride and groom portraits on their wedding day to utilize the beautiful landscape around the venue, so we set aside a few hours for their photos, and it was so much fun. We were able to take a ride to an overlook of the coulee and also shoot around the venue. Being from around the area, it was very similar to how things look around my home, but many of their guests came from out of state, and they were surprised to find out that not all of Washington is green and rainy like Seattle.

These two were surrounded by friends and family on their special day, and celebrated with dancing, some killer karaoke, and ended the day with a dip in the pool. I loved how carefree and easygoing these two were and how it translated to their wedding day. It was such a fun wedding day to be a part of!

They lost one of their sweet kitties not long ago, but they wanted to be sure to remember him on their big day. They had a special photo of him on Cindy’s bouquet stems.

The venue was transformed from the ceremony site to the reception site in a flash. I loved all the bright colors of their details and flowers! It was a perfect addition to the desert vibes.
