The weather has been a little unsettled for the last few weeks around here with a snowstorm last week, and crazy wind and rain this past week. I was a little worried about this Bridgeport engagement session, but we got so lucky with the weather that we had for Guy and Dany’s engagement session.
Dany and Guy are both from the “Coulee” area of Washington. Guy knew of Dany from hunting around her house growing up, but they ran around in different areas of northern WA, and it wasn’t until Guy messaged her on Instagram to make his first move. They joked about meeting people online, exchanged numbers, and it all started from there.
They love hunting, shed hunting, their fur babies, and spending time together, and their session was the perfect combination of all of that. We ended up going out to the property Dany grew up on, their adorable dogs in tow. Miles and miles of dry-land wheat farms and cattle pastures make up a good majority of the land back in that area, and Dany grew up taking the four-wheeler out to a bluff that overlooks the Columbia River. She dreamed of getting pictures done there someday, maybe even getting married there. Guy told Dany after they were engaged that he wanted to propose to her out there but she never took him out there. HA! I was so excited when she mentioned the area and sent me photos of it. I knew it would be PERFECT for their session. We had sunny skies, and a little wind, and it did get a little chilly when the sun went down, but it was absolutely worth it.
Guy and Dany- thanks again for taking me out to such an awesome spot! Thanks for taking the time to scout it out too! I cannot wait for your wedding day this summer!!! Guy will be a pro-champagne popper by then! 😉
