Had it not been for these two, I would have never known that you could have such a beautiful Yellow Rose Nursery Wedding! When I had met these two for their engagement session this past winter, they told me how the nursery doesn’t market as a wedding venue, but they had the ins and were able to lock down the date there! I’m so glad they did because it was everything my photographer heart could imagine!! From the road, it looks like just your average plant nursery, but what you can’t see from the road is their gorgeously landscaped lawn and ceremony site in the back! It was the perfect location!!

I loved spending the day with these two and their friends and it all started at the Bethel Prosser church, where they all got ready! One thing that I did know about Julie is she always has the best shoes (I learned that during their engagement session), and I wasn’t surprised in the lease when I saw her gorgeous floral shoes! I absolutely LOVED them! She also had a sweet bracelet that belonged to her grandma and her veil was her sister’s. I loved that she had so many sentimental pieces to help tie her bridal look together.

Before we headed to the venue for the first look, Julie wanted us to surprise Donovan with the gift she had bought him: a pretty sweet new watch! He, of course, put it on, and it tied HIS look together even better! I love those special surprises on a wedding day! Another fun part of the day (for me) was that my sister in law, Jamie, was even a part of the bridal party!!! It’s not very often [read:never] that I get to say that!!!

Their ceremony was officiated by Julie’s grandpa! If you’ve been around here, you know I’m a huge advocate for having officiants that know my couples because it makes it THAT much more special! He did the best job, and it was equally as funny as it was sweet.

These two danced into the night and straight on through a sparkler tunnel!

Donovan and Julie, thank you SO much for letting me join you guys on your big day! You picked a killer venue, some amazing vendors, and it was really a perfect day. I’ve loved seeing how happy you make each other, and the smiles on your faces through the whole day made it pretty apparent that you love each other SO so much. I can’t wait to see what’s next in store for you! 😀 Thank you!!!!
