Oh man, you brides-to-be! Are you in for a treat today!? I know you have a lot on your plate. You have to find your dress, your shoes, your jewelry. You have to wrangle 4-8 groomsmen to get fitted in their tuxes/suits, and it’s like herding cats more often than not. You have bridesmaids to keep happy, dinners to plan, all while remaining calm and cool and collected. OH, and you have to worry about inviting all your friends and family to your wedding! I don’t know about you, but with social media, and email, and everything in between, it sure makes my day when I get snail mail from someone. It’s even BETTER when it’s a wedding invitation from one of my friends, and it’s more fun when it’s one of my Misty C. couples!! I always joke that well designed paper-goods are my love language (along with almond croissants, and cookies, and a cherry limeade from Sonic, but that’s not as important ;). Paper goods make my heart happy, one thing is for sure though. Hiring a designer to custom design your invitations can get EXPENSIVE. There’s so many websites out there for invitations (i’m not talking about Costco, friends), but one of my new favorites is Basic Invite.
Their name is completely deceiving because they are anything BUT basic! The best part is they don’t just focus on wedding invitations, but really anything you may need pretty paper goods for! Need the best wedding Save the Dates, they’ve got that. Wedding day programs? Yup those too! Name cards for a wedding, you betcha! Not to jump the gun, but they even have baby announcement cards, you know, for a few years down the road! 😉
One thing I was so impressed with by their paper, was how high quality it feels. Now, I’ve felt a lot of wedding invitations. That may be one of the strangest things I have written in this blog. HA! I can appreciate a nice feeling piece of paper, and these guys definitely didn’t disappoint in that department. I was able to play around with one of their gorgeous invitation suites, and while your wedding guests may not appreciate your paper goods as much as I do, they will be blown away by how beautiful they are!
Just a few fun facts about Basic Invite:
They have almost unlimited colors!!
This blew me away, but you can choose from over 180 colors for your invitation, and also each element of your invitation suite!! You get exactly what you want, down to the little details! This one is HUGE!
The can make up custom samples JUST for you!
They’re one of the few websites that you can order a printed sample of your ACTUAL invitation so you can see and feel how it will print before you have to make an order! Try before you buy at it’s finest!
They have over 40 different colors of envelopes!
40 colors, you guys!! You can choose from over 40 colors when it comes to your envelope so not only doesn’t your invitation stand out, but the envelope does as well! They are also peel and stick so you don’t have to taste a zillion nasty envelopes!
There’s over 200 wedding invitation sets to choose from!
All of their invites are a part of a complete set! Like I mentioned before, you can find everything from save the dates to full wedding invitation suites, menus, program, and matching thank you cards!
Address collection service?! Yes please!!
They offer a FREE address collection service to request your addresses in just a few steps! You share the link, they collect the address, and you get free envelope printing!!! WHAT!?! How much time would that save YOU to do other things?! Like get a mani/pedi! 🙂
Keepsake Guest Books
The bow to the present is that they offer beautiful guest books that you will be able to keep your friends and families sweet words and well wishes all in one place over the years! 🙂
I don’t know about you, but I was sold on the address collection service. I’m so excited to work more with Basic Invite. and I’m excited to see more brides getting to use their services and products!! If you want to see more, you can check them out on social media as well! They’re always coming out with new things- like a clear collection, adding rose gold to their foil line, and foil place cards, just to name a few of the newest releases!! Check ’em out!
