I absolutely LOVE shooting this couple shoot at Tagaris Winery!! One of my last “couples” to shoot from my model call, Pierce and Kaila, definitely didn’t disappoint with this shoot. They are so cute together, and it’s pretty clear that Kaila definitely feels safe and secure when she’s in Pierce’s arms. I just couldn’t get enough of those close shots!!

We started out shoot at Tagaris, and then ended up going down by the river along Columbia River Drive. During our drive to our final location, we managed to see a skunk (alive, mind you) and a gaggle of geese proceeding across the roadway (and taking their sweet time, no less). Once AT our final locations, I was hoping to take some images by an outbuilding down there, and then we saw them….three NASTY giant spider webs, nasty giant spider included. We quickly averted the situation, because it gave me the heeby-jeebies, and choose to go to a safer location just by the river, but it was SO worth it!

These two have been together now for about 4 years. What started as just a high school love interest soon blossomed into something much more than that. Kaila told me that they met out at a bonfire one night. Pierce had a super sweet Jeep that he would take to them, and Kaila always LOVED to see it. It wasn’t until one of her friends wanted to introduce them that the magic happened. After some coaxing, Kaila finally went for a ride with Pierce in the Jeep and that was that.

Fast-forward to now, they have a super adorable 2 year old baby girl, and have a built a pretty great life together. I just loved how perfect Kaila looked wrapped up in Pierce’s arms during our shoot. You can tell she’s pretty comfortable there, and he’s been there to keep her safe.

Pierce and Kaila! Thanks for melting in the scorching heat with me the other night!! You guys are so fun, and I just love what we were able to capture! You guys are too cute!
