It really doesn’t get better than this romantic backyard wedding! I’ve been loving that my couples choose a location that is special to them! Calvin and Kelly have put so much time into planning this day, and it all came together so well.
We started the day at the Horse Heaven Saloon in Prosser where the boys hung out downstairs while the girls just went across the street to Studio on 6th and then finished getting ready in the adorable studio-type rooms above the bar. Kelly had nothing but good things to say of her experience at Studio on 6th, and all of the girls looked amazing! While the girls were pampered, the boys got to shoot some pool and play shuffleboard and hang out downstairs of the saloon. Calvin bought his groomsmen some of the coolest beer steins I have seen, and each of them were special to each one! They were so cool! We got a shot of the wedding party in front of the bar, and then we headed to the venue to get things rolling!
When we got to the venue, I KNEW it was going to be amazing! I had Calvin show me around, and I couldn’t get over the amount of work that was put into their special day! They had a super cute candy favors table, and all their signage was beautiful!
One of my favorite things of any wedding ceremony is when the officiant knows the bride and groom. Their officiant had known both of them for quite some time now, growing up, going through marriage counseling, and now their marriage, and he was able to really bring some of them out in the ceremony itself. I love when the words are special just for them! It makes it that much sweeter!
Once it was official, these guys danced well into the night as husband and wife literally surrounded by their friends and family! It was one of the best dance parties I had seen in a while, and I ended my time with some good ol’ Backstreet Boys. You can’t go wrong with that.
Calvin and Kelly, I known I’ve said it a million times, but thank you SO much for entrusting me for your wedding day! I loved every moment of the day, and you guys took the day (and the unsettled weather) with so much grace. Your day was perfect. I hope your marriage is full of love, joy, and puppy kisses (and maybe a few more animals in there), and I’m honored that I got to spend the day with you! Thank you!!!
