Oh man you guys! If you haven’t been checking in to the blog this week then this may be the first time you are seeing my new brand!!!! EEEEEEK! My I’m so very excited to get to share my rebrand with The Autumn Rabbit with you! Late last fall, I had gotten in touch with an AMAZING designer, Louise (AKA The Autumn Rabbit)! Seriously, you guys. This lady is amazing! She made something fabulous from my scatter-brained thought process, and mediocre Pinterest mood board, and I couldn’t be happier with what we ended up with. I just absolutely LOVE it!

My Designer

Picking a designer was actually pretty easy for me! I knew that I had wanted to rebrand for a while now, and I knew that it was something that I HAD to outsource. I had only created my own logo, my own websites, and my own marketing material with the limited amount of knowledge I had about design. They was okay. They worked for the time being, but I was ready for something GREAT! I checked out other’s sites and branding. I ran into some other amazing designers, but got quotes that were WAY out of my budget (and quite frankly ridiculous to me, but hey, if you can charge THAT much, WOOHOOO for you!), so I kept searching! I had been following one designer for sometime, and loved her fun, glitter-filled brands that she created, but then I saw that she was having Louise do HER rebrand! One thing that I’ve learned in this market is if there’s someone that does something well, and they hire someone else to do that same thing for them, They. Are. Amazing. I just knew that when I saw The Autumn Rabbit was doing this said designer’s rebrand that I just HAD to have her. I really cannot begin to explain how happy I am with what she created for me! 🙂

The Rebrand

The process of rebranding was actually kind of terrifying at first for me. I was anxious, and nervous, and had no idea what was going to come of it all.  I had put all this heart and time into my brand! I had just created a new Showit5 website to get a smokin’ deal on not one but two years of the new Showit5 for a great price. I had to have it done by a certain deadline to get the deal so I worked my little heart out, knowing that within a few months, it would be replaced. I liked what I was able to get out of it, but I know that design is definitely NOT my forte, and what my designer would do would be SO much better. That was one of the biggest reasons why I outsources designing!

She started with me answering some questionnaires- finding out if there was anything specific that I wanted in my design, making a pinterest mood board, noting what I needed as far as marketing material. That was fun for me, but I probably filled them out WAY too quickly because then i’d have to go back and change things as we got closer to our start date. Then I realized that there was nothing cohesive about my Pinterest mood board, but she was able to pull it all together!  It was all pretty easy from there!

Like I said, she was able to create something pretty awesome straight out the gate, and with a few micro changes we got to this!

I absolutely LOVED that, and it got me so excited to see what it would all look like translated on my new website! It took a few months of back and forth, and then the beginning of this week we went LIVE!!! I wanted to make sure all the issues were sorted out, make sure all my links work and that I didn’t have any misspelled words, and that brings us to TODAY!!!

I love what Louise created for me, and I love how patient she was with my indecisive self!

If you guys are looking for a designer, or are unsure if it’s the right time to do it, I would say if you’re ready to make the next step, or your brand isn’t bringing you the clients you really want to work with, then it’s the PERFECT time to update your brand! I am so happy that I chose to outsource this project! I’m so happy that I chose Louise to do it, and I just can’t stop looking at my new site!
