I knew this Pine River Ranch Wedding was going to be a great one. When you show up, and the bride’s mom is almost as excited to see you as the bride, and you haven’t even met her yet. That’s THE best! I have been eagerly anticipating this wedding, and thought I can’t believe that July is almost over, I’m so excited for these two and this next adventure.
Matt and Kelsey’s wedding day was beyond amazing. Their friends and family all helped them celebrate at the beautiful Pine River Ranch. Tucked away in the mountains by Lake Wenatchee, you would never guess that it’s the remnants of what used to be a dairy farm! With the beautiful wood in the barn, the best outdoor ceremony with a view of the mountains and the field below, it’s one of my favorite venues in the state, and I always love heading back there!
I started my day, as usually, with the bride’s details. Kelsey had some of the prettiest little details, and most of them have been in their family for years!! Her necklace was one of her grandmas from years ago, as well as her hanky, and the penny for her shoe. She got the most perfect pearl earrings from her hubby-to-be the morning of the wedding, and everything came together perfect. She was one stunning bride!
Matt was equally as handsome in his grey suit (and his mustache socks) along with the sweet watch his bride-to-be gave him that morning. “I’m yours for all time….”
These two went from being roommates, to living in a tiny house, to living in Germany (you can read all about that on their engagement post here), to getting married in the mountains, and it’s safe to say these two are going to have even more adventures together! I loved that during their ceremony, they tied the fisherman’s knot together. I’ve only seen that one other time, but it was perfect for these two and their adventurous selves! Their vows were self written, and blended together with ease, and it was so them, and so great.
After the ceremony, these two got to celebrate with all their family and friends. They had some of the best toasters I’ve heard to date, and they served up the yummiest pies! I even got to steal them for a few minutes for their “sunset” portraits, even though sunset was long gone. The light was beautiful, and we were swatting mosquitos off each other, but they were amazing and stuck it out with me! It was SO worth it!
Matt and Kelsey-thank you for letting me celebrate your wedding with you! I’m so excited to see this next adventure, and also see what adventures you go on next!!! You better take tons of pictures so I can live vicariously through you! Have a blast in Banff!!!!
