If you missed it last week, I had borrowed a Nikon D850 from Nikon to give it a test ride. I found the cutest couple (thanks to Instagram) to go to Ellensburg with me and take a few rides at the Kittitas County fair, eat some cotton candy, and laugh WAY too hard. I didn’t have any other sessions scheduled in the time frame that I had the camera, and I wanted to give it a good shot, so I thought i’d put some more feelers out on Instagram and this Mountaintop anniversary session was born! Diana messaged me that they would be all for coming to Mattawa and heading up the mountain with me, and we made it happen!
We met at my house, and met in real life for the first time. Then they hopped into my car and we headed up the mountain, but not before we joked about how I wasn’t a crazy person, and wasn’t going to murder them and leave them on the mountain. It was basically everything you’ve ever learned not to do.
-Don’t meet people off the internet.
-Don’t get into a car with someone you don’t know.
-Don’t put yourself into a position you can’t get yourself out of.
HA! Well, luckily for them, I’m not a crazy person, and we all made it off the mountain after getting some UH-MAZING shots. I loved getting to know these two a little bit, laughing, a little hiking, and enjoying the gorgeous views.
These two got married a little over a year ago, but it’s safe to say that the “honeymoon phase” is still in full swing. These two were GOOOOOOOD in front of the camera, and it was pretty clear right off the bat how comfortable they are with each other. Of course I got to ogle over her gorgeous wedding ring, talk about their human-hating cat and teaching, and hike around the mountain tops. It was such a good night!
Anthony and Diana– Thanks again for heading out to Mattawa and going up the mountain with someone you guys just met! HA! I can’t wait to see some your epic Christmas card with your cat. 😉
