This Frenchman Coulee engagement session was supposed to happen months ago, but thanks to COVID, we had a reschedule at least once. It was definitely warmed than the shoot would have been in April like we had originally planned, but it was SO MUCH FUN. I loved getting to know Michael and Carley during their session and we had a blast!
These two have been troopers throughout this last year. I’ve said it time and time again, that I feel for my COVID brides and all the stress that has come along with it. These two were one of my couples that ended up rescheduling their wedding to next year, and although that means I have to wait a little while longer to celebrate alongside them as they become husband and wife, I’m SO dang excited to be there!! It’s going to be a great day next summer!
These two met at a get together at a friends house years ago. They started talking right away, and as Carley told me, they connected in a way she thought they never would. It was easy going and they were there for each other.
These two got engaged during a family portrait session. Carley told me “We were getting family pictures taken with my family and he was already part of the family so he was in them then he got down in front of my family and asked. I cried a little. I could tell he was nervous because we were on this mini island and he didn’t want to drop the ring.” No pressure, right? HA! I love that her family was a part of their proposal. So fun!
We gallivanted the desert-side, dodging the wind, having our Pocahontas moments, laughing a ton, and getting to know each other better. I’m so dang excited to celebrate with them next year! Thanks for hanging out in the wind with me, guys!!!
